The 2015 Milton Film Festival

The Film Festival runs from January 23rd to 25th at the Milton Centre for the Arts. 

 

FRIDAY

BOYHOOD
Filmed over 12 years with the same cast, Richard Linklater’s BOYHOOD is a groundbreaking story of growing up as seen through the eyes of a child.
 

SATURDAY

WADJDA
This first feature film shot entirely in Saudi Arabia is the story of a young girl determined to defy convention and raise the money to buy a bike.

LOVE IS STRANGE
After Ben (John Lithgow) and George (Alfred Molina) get married, George is fired from his job, forcing them to sell their place and stay with friends separately.

SHOW STOPPER: The Theatrical Life of Garth Drabinsky
A powerful, uncensored account of brilliant, feared, and now disgraced theatre producer Garth Drabinsky. With special guest, director Barry Avrich.

THE GRAND SEDUCTION
GALA SCREENING: A small fishing village must procure a local doctor to secure a factory, forcing them to seduce a big city doctor there for a trial residence. Be sure to join us for our Gala Reception before the film, catered by The Lunchbox Cafe.

ERNEST & CELESTINE
